Our Story

Our roots reach back to 1957, when Mr. Paul Tanguay started a business in the basement of the local City Hall in St-Martin, Quebec, Canada. He named the company Unique Art, and set out to manufacture Lucite® key chains, name plates & paperweights for the souvenir industry.

In 1971, three business partners came together nearby and started their own company to produce Lucite® embedments for the promotional products industry. Felix Bolduc, Fabien Carrier and Guy Hamel took the first letter of each of their last names to entitle their new company BCH Plastics. Just eight years later, BCH Plastics bought Unique Art, merging both organizations. BCH Unique was born.

Over time, the company's main focus shifted away from souvenirs to the Awards and Recognition market.By 1987, Felix Bolduc became the sole owner of BCH Unique. He remained active in the business until 1991, when he sold the company to his son Bernard Bolduc who heads the company today as its President.

Today, the BCH Unique Head Office is located in a state-of-the-art building of over 40,000 square feet, in Quebec, Canada. In November 2011 we opened a second manufacturing facility in Amsterdam, NY employing a total of 150 people. Through dedication and innovation, BCH Unique has become a recognized leader in the design & manufacturing of stock & custom Awards.

We are renowned worldwide for our manufacturing capabilities in creating unique hand-made Lucite embedments, a skill that only a few companies around the globe have mastered.

For over fifty years, BCH Unique has been committed to outstanding service, constant innovation and quality products. It’s a rich heritage that Felix Bolduc passed to his son and one we all strive to uphold every day.
